Healthy chocolate cake

 Delicious, easy and healthy chocolate fitness cake "chocoholic" without eggs and flour with an avocado and chocolate cream. It is soft, creamy but most importantly so good and full of health benefits. Everybody who loves chocolate will enjoy this amazing healthy cake.

Who would think, that ingredients like carrot, avocado, oats and bananas can create so tasty cake, right? Well, give it a try and you will see. This cake is so worth it. And I am sure will try it more than once. 

Cake contain thanks to added avocado and bananas a huge amount of potassium and fiber, and is a a great source of healthy fats. This cake is vegan friendly. If you have a gluten allergy you can switch to gluten free flour.

Perfectly healthy avocado chocolate frosting gives amazing swank to this cake, and when you add bananas or strawberries it is a new addiction!

Healthy chocolate cake

Let's begin 


1 cup- 250ml

Ingredients 

  • 180 g carrot
  • 3 big bananas
  • 1/4 cup of apple pure
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil (my favourite for cooking and baking)
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 cup of oats (you can use gluten free, I recommend this one)
  • 1 cup of coconut or cane sugar
  • 3/4 cup of cocoa 
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract 
  • sea salt
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
Cream
  • 2 fresh avocados
  • 1/2 cup of cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract (optional)
Filling
  • bananas, strawberries (or other fruits)


Steps

1. Blend bananas with carrot until it creates pure.

2. Blend oats very fine

3. In a bowl whisk together pure with other liquid ingredients and then add other ingredients.

4.  Prepare a baking form (25cm), you can use baking paper or spray it with an oil and then add mixture.

5. Bake approximately for 40 minutes on 180°C.

6. When cake is ready, let it cool down, after that slice it in the half.

7. Add cream to one half of the cake (not all cream), add fruits and cover it with the second half of the cake.

8. Use the rest of the cream on top of the cake and sides.

9. Cake test the best when you keep it overnight inside the fridge.
